- Supports for Independence (SFI), often
referred to as 'welfare'
- Helps people who don't have enough money
for the basics like food, clothing and shelter. It is a program of last
resort. You will only receive SFI if you have no other way of supporting
yourself and your family
- If you qualify for SFI, you will receive
employment supports, financial assistance and health benefits
- Applicants should go in person or call any
of the locations.
